Positive Point: John Mikel Obi have really done a great work for Chelsea this season. When he was about joining Chelsea from Lyn Oslo, people were condemning the boy; they were claiming he would not do well in Chelsea, due to the way Chelsea game are played. Also people were saying that Manager Jose Mourinho would not be featuring Mikel on regular basics. But now Mikel is proving what he’s made of, now he’s benching Makelele, the greatest midfielder in the world.
Negative Point: Mikel Obi has made fool of him self at the beginning of the season with Chelsea. He was not showing up for training, when he shows up, he usually came late. Due to his behavior, his manager was now acting negatively towards him. He almost lost his chance of playing for the first time. He was restricted for some time and he was later call to the first squad.
Resolution/ conclusion
In the depth of this article, Jose Mourinho has proven to be good and also want the best for his players. He discipline Mikel and brought him back to his senses, because at the beginning of the season, Mikel was totally out of control but Jose Mourinho did leave him alone he tries his best to restore him, now Mikel have improved and he’s now one of the best young midfielder in the world. Ribadu Admorish Voter's

Chairman of Economic and Finance Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallaqm Nuhu Ribadu, urge the Nigeria voters not to cast their vote for any corrupt political aspirants. He further stated that corruption is one of the reasons why poverty is high in this country. The government has failed to yield good seed because they are corrupt.
He spoke at a one-day seminar organized by the Chief Imam of the Federal Capital Territory. Ribadu mentioned the name of a former governor who was removed from office for corruption and said such corrupt officers must not be allowed to win elections again.

Positive point: Ribadu gave a very wise advice to the Nigerians who are intent to vote in the forthcoming April poll. It is time for us Nigeria to learn from our previous mistakes and grew up before this country is being captured by those self seeking politician. They have used us enough, thanks to the EFCC for revealing these corrupt politicians to us. This will present a way for us to know how and whom to vote for. In other words, there would not be any corrupt leader after May 29, 2007.
Negative point: EFCC has done a great job in the forthcoming election but there is still one step to overcome these corrupt politicians; INEC will be the major concern in the forthcoming election. Are they going to run it with honesty? Would they give a way for these corrupt aspirants to buy their way in? As I will always say, power is buyable in this country. The only advice I have fore individual is to be vigilant in the forthcoming election and let see what the INEC is going to do.
Resolution/conclusion: “Our common logic was that anyone who wants to run for public office automatically opens himself or herself up for public scrutiny. We decided therefore to use the instrumentality of the law to give effect to the provisions of the 1999 constitution.” These statements conclude the whole story. Politician who want to hold any public office will be examined first before running for the office.

Mourinho under fire over Mikel substitution

Summary
The Chelsea senior players has be upset about their boss, Jose Mourinho for the substitution he made during the match between Chelsea and Valencia on Wednesday. They complained that the substitution he made against Mikel Obi was wrong. They claimed he should have substitute Michael Ballack instead of Mikel Obi.
View Point.
Positive point: the Chelsea senior players lamented very well in the case of Ballack been kept in the pitch for 90 minute. In the match between Chelsea and Valencia, Mikel was at his best, he controls the midfield brilliantly. Although Ballack was more experience and I think that was the reason that led Mourinho to substitute Mikel instead of Ballack. Because Ballack is more experience in term of champion league game than Mikel.
Negative point: Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho made a very wrong substitution. Ballack should have be substituted not Mikel despite he’s more experienced.Mikel was better off than Ballack in that game. You will notice that Chelsea game began to drop after Mikel was sub. The midfield was taken over by Valencia. The game became stick and more pressure was on Chelsea defense
Resolution/Conclusion: Although boss Jose Mourinho has earlier labeled Ballack as “Untouchable” that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be sub when he’s not at his best. Since Ballack arrived at Chelsea in the summer, he has not really proven what he worth; his game has dropped compare to when he was at Bayern Munich. There, he play magnificent ball. That is what attract Chelsea to bought him but now he’s messing up the whole thing. He should improved his game or else I would advice he should be kept in the bench so that Mikel will have the opportunity to play his beautiful game.

Homeless Eagles

The super eagles’ captain, Kanu Nwankwo claimed that the super eagles do not have a place they called their home. He said this after the 1-0 win over the Cranes of Uganda last Saturday. He complains about playing matches in various grounds will not help the super eagles. They should have or be given a particular ground where all the matches would be played as other countries are doing.

Positive: Kanu Uwankwo makes a good complaint. As a captain who wants the best for his country would definitely did the same thing. Unlike when Austin Jay Jay Okocha was the captain, he did make such complaint. The NFA should treat this complaint with full respect and let the Nigeria football come to it peak
Negative: To begin with, take a look at what happen to Nigeria against Angola in the qualification for last year world cup. The match was surpose to take place at the Abuja stadium but the NFA shifted it to Kaduna were there is a high humidity. The players could not play their best and Nigeria lost the match. The defeat presented a way out for the eagles not to participate in the last year world cup. It is a shame for a country like Nigeria not to have a specifics ground for their home game.

During that game between Nigeria and Uganda, the players really saw hell. Nigeria was lucky to found the net. The pitch was bad. Both teams couldn’t play their best. Mr. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the chairman of Economy and Financial crime Commission, stated that corruption would not give way for free and fair election. He lamented that the corrupt political aspirant who are seeking for power would never allowed free and fair election to take place in this country.

Look at the common primaries; they are already buying their way in. They are corrupt so there is nothing to do about it they already inherits the trait of corruption. God knows were they inherit it from, May be from their corrupt father who has been in power before. In Nigeria power is inheritable. So who knows?
Negative: The independent electoral commissions (INEC) are a disgrace to this democracy and disappointment to the masses. We the masses have build our hope and trust on INEC,they promise to conduct a free and fair election but they have fall woefully to the hand of politician.
They forget so soon the effort they input to make sure there is a free and fair election; the introduction of voters’ machine and the registration card with photograph, but they lost all these effort just because of money. It is a big shame to them.

“We are face with elections and we are going to confront it. Some of the people have stolen so much. They have immunity today and they are going to buy immunity for the next four years. If you allow that, we are done for.”
This statement concluded everything. The advice I have for the masses is to stay in their various home on the day of election. There is no need of voting for the INEC already know the candidate they want. So going out to vote will be a waist of time.

No going back on poll — Iwu

The INEC chairman, Prof. Maurine Iwu, claimed that nothing is going to stop them notto conduct the April poll. He stated this when he was speaking to a group of journalists in Abuja. He also said the coming election would be free and fair and the process for the election would be paper ballot system and voters’ photograph would be assign to the card. Also the result would be taken to various centres where the result would be announced except the presidential that would be announced in Abuja. He said.

Rigging of election will be totally wiped away from the April poll. I still advice the INEC to take proper care and be vigilant during the election. I still not bide the idea of voters’ car with photograph. The reason is that, we are in Nigeria ill everything is possible.
